The focus this past month has been on preparing for the upcoming APS
URSI conference in Atlanta Georgia. The actual talk has been organized
but the near-field to far-field transformation algorithm is still being
debugged. The current NSOM samples under study are a thin wire and two
parallel plates as pictured in Figures 1 and 2.

In addition to working on the FDTD code, a dual OS boot manager was
installed on the NSOM control computer. The computer is now capable of
booting into either Win95 or Win3.1. Additionally, LabView was installed
under both OS versions and the Melles-Griot piezo LabView drivers were
tested and worked well.
