As mentioned last month, the X-band NSOM instrument was built and utilized
to image thin-wire specimens. Specifically, Figure 1 below illustrates the X
band specimen compared to a computer simulated result. Obviously these
results validate the previously developed moment method and FDTD codes.
In addition to completing the X-band experiment and analysis, I have also been
busy writing my PhD dissertation. Hopefully, the dissertation chapters will
be made available at a later date.
