SEPTEMBER 1996 REPORT FOR

The main priority for the past month was the submission of a preliminary abstract for the Pittsburgh Conference entitled NEAR-FIELD OPTICS APPLIED TO NEAR-INFRARED IMAGING. Once the abstract was completed, the remainder of the month was spent attending the Antennas and Propagation Society (APS)meeting in Baltimore, MD as well as building and installing new computerized door locks for the lab in order to prepare for the safe use of the Nd:YAG pumped OPO laser system.
