Common Questions and Their Answers

1) Q: What time of the day should I take the test?

A: You can take the test any time of the day, but you should test the same time each day.

2) Q: How important is the timing of the test?

A: Clearplan Easy is the only at-home ovulation test that does not involve complicated timing of multiple steps. All you have to do is hold the absorbent tip in your urine stream for at least 5 seconds and then after 5 minutes you simply read the result.

3) Q: I've collected a urine sample in a container, can I still use the test?

A: Yes, as long as the urine sample is collected in a clean, dry container. If it needs to be stored for more than 1 hour, it needs to be stored in the refrigerator and then allowed to reach room temperature for about a half hour before taking the test.

4) Q: Do I need to use all 5 tests?

A: No, you can stop testing when you detect your LH surge and save the remaining tests to use next month, if necessary.

5) Q: How accurate is Clearplan Easy?

A: Clearplan Easy has been shown in laboratory testing to be over 98% accurate in detecting the LH surge.

6) Q: Since it tells me when I'm fertile, can I use Clearplan Easy as a contraceptive?

A: No, Clearplan Easy detects the LH surge which begins only 24-36 hours before you reach peak fertility. Since sperm can survive for 72 hours or more, you could still become pregnant if you had sexual intercourse within 3 days before this time of peak fertility.

7) Q: Do I need to compare my daily readings?

A: No, each daily reading tells you whether or not you are about to ovulate.
