1. When ready to begin testing, remove a test stick from one of the foil wrappers by tearing along the split at the end of the wrapper.
2. Remove the cap and hold the stick in your urine stream for at least 5 seconds. The test stick should be held with the absorbent tip pointing downwards. Also, the windows on the test stick should be facing away from your body while the stick is being held in the urine stream.
3. Once the absorbent tip is completely wet, remove it from your urine stream and either replace the cap, or lay the test stick down in an area where it will be safe from being splashed or falling on the floor.
4. The test stick can be put down while you wait 5 minutes for the result.
