2. If testing on the first day of a missed period, will need to use first urine of the morning. Otherwise, can use urine obtained at any other time of the day.
3. Remove the test stick from the foil wrapper.
4. Remove the protective cover from the absorbent tip.
5. Hold the absorbent tip downward and directly in the urine stream for at least 5 seconds (until the tip is completely wet).
6. Replace the protective cover over the absorbent tip, and lay the stick down on a flat protected surface with the result window facing up.
7. Wait 5 minutes before reading the test results.
8. The formation of a blue line in the oval control windows indicates that the test is working. (Note: If a blue line does not form in the oval control windows the test is invalid)
9. After 5 minutes, any line in the heart shaped windows indicates a positive result and the possibility of pregnancy. A physician will need to be consulted for confirmation. The absence of a line in the heart shaped window, most likely means not pregnant.
