2. Put test pack holder (containing 3 vials and urine drpper) onto a flat surface.
3. Remove stoppers from all 3 vials. These stoppers should be discarded.
4. Using the urine dropper, add urine up to the line in vial. Mix by tapping the vial bottom until the solution turns a uniform red color. Let vial stand for one minute.
5. Without touching the end with pads, remove the Q testrip from vial 2. Holding the plastic end, place the Q teststrip into vial one. Let the Q teststrip stay in vial one for 5 minutes.
6. After 5 minutes, place end with pads of Q testrip in running cold water from faucet for 30 seconds. Pads should be white or faint pink. Shake off excess water.
7. Place Q testrip into vial 3 and let stand for exactly 10 minutes.
8. After 10 minutes, remove Q testrip and holding plastic end, blot both pads at the end of strip with tissue paper or towel until completely dry. Can read the results when pads are dry.
9. If Result Pad is darker blue than the Error Control Pad, the result is positive and the patient is very likely pregnant. A doctor should be consulted for confirmation.
If the color on the Result Pad is the same color as the Error Control Pad, then the result is negative and the patient is very likely not pregnant. Note that the Result Pad is the pad on the end of the strip.
