Bottle B must be prepared for use prior to using the test kit. To prepare Bottle B, remove the cap and gray plug from it. Also remove the cap from Bottle 1. Squeeze all of tthe liquid from Bottle 1 into Bottle B. Put the black dropper on Bottle B to cap it. To mix the contents, gently turn the bottle upside down and right side up a few times. You should write the date that you prepared Bottle B on its label because it should not be used for longer than 50 days after preparation. Bottle B should sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before its first use. If you use Bottle B for more than one cycle, it should be refrigerated between cycles.
1. Collect urine in one of the cups provided in the kit.
2. Remove Test Pad from its foil package and place it on a clean, flat surface. The area inside the round hole on the test pad should not be touched and should be facing upward.
3. Attach the rubber bulb to one of the urine droppers. Draw up urine with the dropper much like a medicine dropper. While holding the dropper an inch above the test pad, add 6 drops of urine to the center of the pad. The drops should be added 3 at a time to allow them time to be absorbed into the pad.
4. Next, remove the cap from Bottle A and add 3 drops of liquid from the bottle to the center of the test pad. Before going to the next step wait a moment to allow the drops to soak into the pad.
5. Add 6 drops from Bottle B which you prepared earlier. The drops should be added 3 drops at a time in order to give them enough time to soak into the pad. Using a watch or timer, wait exactly ONE MINUTE.
6. After one minute, add 6 drops of the liquid from Bottle C. Again, you should only add 3 drops at a time to allow the test pad to absorb them. After adding all 6 drops, wait exactly THREE MINUTES.
7. After the 3 minutes are up, add 6 drops from Bottle D (3 drops at a time). Once all the drops have been allowed time to soak in you are ready to read the results of the test. For more information on how to read the results, click here.
